About Us
Ye Old White Horse is a traditional English pub located in the heart of Central London
History
A pub has been located on our premesis for over 200 years, and our cellar dates back to the 1600s. The pub is located in the heart of old Dickensian London, in close proxmity to The Old Curiousity Shop and several other landmarks familiar to readers of Charles Dickens' works.
What's more, legend has it that the "Great White Horse" pub featured in Dickens' "The Pickwick Papers" is an ode to one of his favourite neighbourhood pubs of a slightly similar name.
Today
Today, Ye Old White Horse is a lively gathering place that caters to a wide variety of patrons - professionals from surrounding offices, lecturers, staff, and students from nearby learning institutions, theatre patrons, and anyone looking for a friendly place to enjoy a drink and a chat.
